A profesional, successful person doesn't need to be out at a nightclub at 3 in the morning in a bad part of town. It's sad and sounds cruel, but you're right.

All you have to do is look at the number of times this has happened. You'd think they would learn.

it is bad that most do put themselves in questionable places at times, they're intentions are not to do anything wrong for the most part but it seems like trouble will find you, but a 24 year old, cut down is so very sad.

    Re: Denver CB Shot Dead

The optimal term here is "professional"... as in professional athlete...if he is being paid millions per year, he should have the decency to honor that contract and be home by 3 a.m. Those who are paid millions per year should be expected to hold to a higher requirement than the rest of us. I'm saddened that he has died, but the rest of us can't live the lifestyle many pro athletes have chosen...you choose that life, you must deal with it.

    Re: Denver CB Shot Dead

jesus christ guys, he was 24 years old, and died.

wheter you agree with his choice of parties on New Years Eve, mind you ,is not the issue.

issue is that an innocent man died, not assaulting his choice of friends, etc... i think a lot of the issue on this forum is taht he was a famous black athlete, so hes automatically a gang member riot.

if this were a white player, would the reponses be the same if the situation was the same? i dont think so

I agree with Biggin this time. He was a human first of all.

    Re: Denver CB Shot Dead

Upstanding people don't go out to clubs at 3AM and get shot.

Race doesn't matter, so thanks for trying to inject that chestnut into the conversation.
